8 From the first storage enclosure, plug one end of the cable into the connector with
the down arrow.
9 Plug the other end of the cable into the connector with an up arrow on the next
storage enclosure.
10 Repeat step 8 through step 9 for each storage enclosure that you intend to add to
the storage array.
11 Repeat step 5 through step 10 for controller B.
Things to Know – Basic Cabling Configurations
You have many options for attaching cables in your storage array configuration. Use
these basic configurations as a guide to configure your storage array.
Depending on the number ESMs, hosts, and storage enclosures that you need to
connect, see the applicable figure listed in Table 3-2.
